If you filled in a form, and your details reached a business
If you enquired through an ad on Facebook or Instagram, a website, or another form, and the business uses Prospekt, your details are in that business's Prospekt account.
- Email support@prospekt.co.in with the subject “Delete my data”.
- Tell us the phone number and email address you gave, and, if you know it, the business or project you enquired about.
- We confirm the request is from you (usually with a code sent to that email or number), then pass it to the business and delete your details from every Prospekt account that holds them, together with notes and history about you.
- We email you to confirm, within 30 days of your request.
You can also ask the business directly; they can delete your details from their Prospekt account themselves.
If you connected Facebook to Prospekt
Businesses connect their Facebook Pages to Prospekt to receive their lead ads. To remove Prospekt's access:
In Facebook
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Choose Business integrations.
- Find Prospekt and select Remove.
A Page admin can also remove Prospekt's access to the Page's leads in Meta Business Suite → Settings → Integrations → Leads access.
In Prospekt
- Go to Settings → Lead connections.
- Next to the Page, select Remove.
Either way, Prospekt stops receiving the Page's leads straight away, and the access keys Facebook gave us are deleted. Leads already received stay in the business's account until the business deletes them, or until you ask us to, as above.
To have everything Prospekt received through Facebook deleted, email support@prospekt.co.in with the subject “Delete my Facebook data” and the Page's name. We confirm the request and delete it within 30 days, then email you.
If you use Prospekt
Deleting leads. Company admins can delete leads themselves: open Leads, select them, and choose Delete. They disappear at once and are permanently erased 30 days later (the gap lets a mistake be undone).
Removing a team member. A company admin can remove a person in Team. Their sign-in stops working immediately; the leads they worked on stay with the company.
Closing a company's account. Email support@prospekt.co.in from an admin's address. We confirm, give you the chance to export your leads, then delete the company's data within 30 days.
Your own details. To have your personal account details deleted, email support@prospekt.co.in. If you're part of a company, we'll let its admins know.
What happens after you ask
- We may need to confirm the request is really from you, so no one can delete someone else's data.
- We act within 30 days and email you when it's done.
- Deleted data is erased from Prospekt, including its history. Copies in our backups are overwritten as those backups cycle out.
- Some records must be kept by law, such as invoices and security logs. They are kept only for as long as the law requires, and used for nothing else.
